Respondents to a 2009 survey stated that they are 20% more productive on a company aircraft than in the office. Less people will usually tend to equal less noise and distractions. No crying babies yelling over your inflight movie, no snoring from any of the people seated next to you once the plane is cruising through the sky, and maybe best yet, no loud, obnoxious applause from the entire plane once you have reached your final destination. Out of business aircraft passengers, only 22% are top management, 50% are other managers, and 20% are technical, sales or service staff. One third of all business aircraft flights are into a secondary airport, and 19% of flights are into large commercial airports. Business people flying on commercial airlines reported a 40% drop in productivity, according to a 2009 survey. This comes from the ability to work in a quiet setting that allows them to focus on their task at hand for the entirety of the trip.

While commercial jets cruise at 35,000 feet, smaller jets fly higher and don’t have to deal with other air traffic, often making trips faster. Private jets use a network of more than 5,000 airports in the United States, compared to 550 used by commercial airlines. Around 1.2 million Americans are employed by the business aviation industry, which generates $150 billion in economic activity a year. By 2011, 11,261 private jets were registered in the United States. The United States accounts for 49.7% of the private jet market, with Europe in second at 20.8%. Aside from the business benefits, a private het flight can be good for vacation as well. It costs $106,711.17 to charter a Gulfstream V from NYC to San Francisco for a weekend. Being able to enjoy your flight shouldn?t be an option, it should be a guarantee.
